A Little Background

I was a dental assistant turned stay-at-home mom, and every year I have made my entire family Christmas presents (27 and counting!). In September of 2018, I decided to try drawing my family’s gifts, and discovered that I have a gift of my own! And so Morgan Crowell Art was born. Since then I have drawn and painted families, houses, weddings and engagements, birth announcements, memorials— a little bit of all of the important moments we hold close to our hearts. Most recently my business has been shifting more into creating shirts and prints.

 

The first week that I started drawing, I read a quote by Leo Buscaglia that stated: "Your talent is God's gift to you.  What you do with it is your gift back to God."  These words are the foundation of this newfound business that is so beautifully blooming as I let God take the wheel, and I have really started focusing on trying to leave the world a better place with even the tiniest mark I may make. 

 

My goal is to create a monthly shirt that shares a story from someone in my community that has seen God work in their life in a challenging time, and focuses on giving back to those who helped them see good and feel hope in their time of need.  10% of the profit from each monthly Shirt For A Cause will go to the featured family’s cause, whether it be for medical research, rehabilitation, awareness, etc.  If you are in the Northern Louisiana area and you have a special cause or person in mind that you think I could help out with, please reach out to me!
